My name is Sandy and I work as secretary to ISA117 Ministries.  Jesus is the center of my life.  I love Jesus because He first loved me.   He said to love God and love one another.  The more I love Him, the more He pours his love into my heart for others.  I’m so blessed that He has allowed me to know and love the children at Hope Children’s Home.   I look forward to visiting with them every year when I travel to Uganda.  Jesus has given all of us opportunities to help others in His name.  Jesus tells us:

Matthew 25:34-40 New International Version (NIV)

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’  37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’  40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

When I’m at home in the USA, I want to continue to help these children in the name of Jesus.  I enjoy sharing this opportunity with others.  You may be thinking that you can’t go to Uganda so what can you do?  Prayer is the number one need.  We need faithful people to intercede on behalf of these children.  You can help feed, clothe, educate and provide medical care for them by sponsoring a specific child or donating to special projects and/or giving to the general fund.  Everyone can do something in the name of Jesus.

One day we will all stand before the Lord.  I want to hear from Him, (Matthew 25:21) ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
